Judge Negrón has served as State District Judge of the 407th and 438th District Courts of Bexar County. He recently returned to his role as a family and civil law practitioner, mediator, and arbitrator. Judge Negrón became Board Certified in Family Law in 1987. As an author and presenter for various State Bar of Texas Professional Development Programs and University of Texas CLE Programs, he has helped to shape the evolution of family law in the State of Texas. Judge Negrón has regularly been honored by his peers for his pursuit of legal excellence. Texas Monthly magazine named him a "Texas Super Lawyer" in 2008, 2009, and 2010. He was also recognized as one of "San Antonio's Best Lawyers" by SA Scene Magazine from 2004–2010 and 2013–2015. Beyond his service to Bexar County as District Judge and several years serving the Bexar County Legal Aid Association, Judge Negrón's dedication to volunteerism includes military service, church involvement, and his role as a dedicated father to four sons.
